		Dallas native Kristi Nelson is the co-anchor of NBC 5 First at Four and can also been seen throughout the week reporting for NBC 5 News at 10. Before joining the NBC 5 news team in 2001, Kristi worked at WVIT-TV in Hartford, CT. However, she began her journalism career as a newspaper reporter, first working for The Philadelphia Inquirer, and later, the Cincinnati Enquirer. She later joined the National Basketball Association as a staff writer, where she wrote for Hoop and Inside Stuff magazines, and for NBA and WNBA websites. Kristi is also a published author. Her book, “The Chamique Holdsclaw Story,” is for children ages 8-12 and was published in 2000 by Scholastic Press.

She was the culinary director for Ralph Brennan’s New Orleans Seafood Cookbook which is considered the definitive guide to New Orleans seafood. Chef Haley has been featured in television shows such as “Great Chefs of The New Guard” and on The Food Network. She graduated from the Culinary Arts Academy of Cincinnati and began her career at Mr. B’s Bistro in New Orleans where she learned the value of superior, fresh ingredients. 	Professional Dance Instructor Gene X. Willman has won numerous dance and top teacher awards at various local and national Ballroom, Country Western, and Latin dance competitions. Gene received most of his professional dance training from some of the top dance coaches such as Fred Astaire and the Arthur Murray Dance Studios. He is one of a few dance teachers in Texas who are fully qualified and certified to teach lessons in all phases of dance. He teaches in both American Standard and International styles of dance on three levels of Ballroom and Latin. Gene is a member of the United States Independent Dance Council, the Texas Country Western Dance Association and the United Country Western Dance Council.
